I love the T-44, I am actually enjoying it more than the pershing. It is a very capable tank.

I was in fight with T44 Medium in assault mode,,,,my respect to T44 I was out class by the quality of the tanks.
I,m using M6 Heavy Full researched with top 90mm guns(HP at 70%) vs T44 i think full researched as well from the gun hit.
T44 fired at me 4 killer shoot at 70% and wreck me out to garage,,,,damm !! while my M6 manage to
reply 2 shoot at hull but,,,,we just DING them !!!
From my book,,T44 is a Top Quality as a medium tank which able to ding 90mm long barrel gun at 25meters.No doubt it will be my 1st choice upcoming medium tanks list.
Cheerio tank commander !!

The only tier 8 medium tank i ever play is T-44 and i really love it. Love the mobility and the fast RoF. I always use it as a flanker, since my 100mm mostly bounce the enemy frontal armour.
The cons are this tank is so fragile, so you have to play it carefully :D

i liked it better then my 59 though in a one on one battle it was always very tight. i think its the best tier 8 medium available. the mix of armour, gun accuracy, dpm, speed and acceleration plus turning ability make the thing a beast. add to that a low profile making.it super sneaky and its one deadly tank.

T44 is a great brawler, with much better speed and turn rate (hull and turret) than the T59. They also pack a heavier punch with the inclusion of LB-1's higher RoF. I'll rather be in a T44 than a T59 anytime. The only time when a T59 is really good is when you're up against a bunch of inexperienced tanker that keeps shooting at your front armor and doesn't understand the significance of tracking.
You can play T59 as a fontline tank against lower tiers...but T44 demands a very different playstyle to be effective.

I just got it and maybe 45 games in it, I agree with my friends who have the tank that it is horrible when stock... I understand and I like it's potential... Current W/L is really horrible but I expect it to go up once I get it fully upgraded been a medium tank driver ever since and I know that this would be a monster tank if played right.....

T-44 is superb when it's fully worked up. Hands-down my favourite tank, it's an absolute blast to play, but you have to have your wits about you. Not for the stodgier players this one, but those with an eye for the opportunities that present themselves will be well rewarded.

Speaking from experience, I find medium tank hard to learn. You don't have the thick armor of heavies, nor the big guns. In my early tiers I've been playing my medium wrong, going peek-a-boo and dueling with the enemy then complain about how OP heavy was, and how useless Med is. It takes a while for you to learn how to maneuver safely to an enemy's flank, how to rely on your teammates, how to spot when needed, and knows when is a good time to run to the enemy's back line to raid their arty. So being in a med, you need to learn to be a flanker, brawler, support, raider, scout. It can be quite unforgiving when you make a mistake.
I hated the grind up on the russian med line. I didn't even like the T44 when I got it. I finally learned the basics on how to play a med quite late in my T44....and when I finally got it elited, it was great. If you like the T44, you will LOVE T54.

that's why I play mostly medium. The adrenalin rush you get for outflanking an enemy, wreck havoc from odd firing positions, dancing around a clueless enemy and watch their shot miss, being chased around the house by a slow heavy while your teammate pounds him to death, butt hug a TD/facehug a lower tier HV and watch him give up, rampaging the enemy with a pack of T54...ah....sweet memories....

On paper hands down current cream of the crop with meds is the T-62A... I have driven one but not mine, it is definitely one hell of a tank. Aside from the fact that I am enjoying my t-44 right now the thought of getting that juicy T-62A is just so tempting that If I can, I would grind the T-44 100+ battles a day hahaha!!! But seriously I may never sell the T-44 and maybe the T-54... With the T-44 this would hone your skillz as a med driver going to the top tier... Enjoy the T-44 and get it fully kitted up and be an all around tanker weaving in and out!!! I always say be a guerrilla for once heheh!!! Hoooyah!!!

I couldn't make the T-44 work, (40 battles, 30 kills, 45% winrate- and yes I know others that make it sing), and the T-54s stats are NOT much better than the 44s. The people who state that the 44 was great inevitably state that they "Support" at the start, and once the defensive line thins out they go hunting. Unfortunately thats not much of a magic formula - ANY tank that cant pull its weight in the first half is suspect, and a LOT of tanks can do well once the enemy is thinned. The idea that some cling to, that 60kph will keep you alive, is obviously rubbish, as the vast majority of T-50-2s travelling at 70 get hit and die in the first two minutes of each game.
On the other hand the T-62As gun - 264 pen, 9 + ROF and .34 accuracy are outstanding, almost 2-3 times faster than similar heavy tanks, so it looks like a complete winner. Tierage wise it will face exactly the same enemies as the 54, but is far superior.
If it wasn't for the fact that the T-54 will be half price this weekend, I would save the 82k ex required to fully upgrade it (minus the gun which is require to get to the 62) and free xp my way to the 62 - 282k xp or 11300 gold ($90AUD)

Well I'm madly grinding my T-44 to get the T-54 on special. Truly though it really hasn't been much of a grind, certainly not once fully upgraded. This tank is a pleasure.
