This tutorial will teach you how to make your own WoT Music!

Its simple,really :)
Follow each and every steps carefully and you'll get it done in no time!(maaaaybe~ xD)

Alright,lets start;

First-or do you preferably use Numbers?

1)Download the Latest Version(Currently Version 4.43.04) AND Version 4.30.06 (21.07.2010)

2)Install both versions(Which gets installed first doesn't matter),And then Download this Music Tempate

3)Open the Music.fdp with The Latest Version of Fmod Designer ,You will see a window like this;

4)On the left bar,those are the Music Folders,main_menu is for the login screen,lobby is the garage and so on.
You can add music to it by Drag and Dropping Music files into the Blue Button(Some are yellow) at the middle.
You can check what you added by double clicking the Blue(or yellow) Button in the middle.

Get to work From here!

5)Once done adding music,Save the project.

6)Now,open Fmod Designer Version 4.30.06.It will automatically Open your saved project.

7)Head over to the "Wave Banks",and Click music_bank03.Now look at the middle,there are a few settings,you are going to change "Bank Type to:Stream From Disk" and "Compression to Mp2",Make sure the Compression Quality is 50.

(The Waveforms are my project for the Persona Battle Music,you'll see your music inside it)

8)You are done here.Now press Build button on the top row,And press "Build Project"
A window will pop out and Set "Build Project For:PC" and tick "Music_Bank03" and press Build!
-Building will take some time depending how much music you added and how big it is.I Preferrably choose .OGG as my music extension as it is smaller.

9)Once done,check your template folder and you will see 2 files called "Music.fev" and "Music_bank03.fsb"
-Backup your "Music.fev" from World of Tanks\res\audio and then copy the 2 files into your World of Tanks\res\audio folder.Overwrite existing files.

10)All done!Get WoT Started!

Heres a Cake!

Nice try on making a tut on music mod, this guide also works for crew voice too but not for guns and engine as they are more complex to work with.

But I did notices you lacked some details.

1.The Fmod program, you must use the latest version to form the base but dont use it to compile the file...it just wont work well with WOT. Use only the older version of Fmod to build the file. It not easy to install both the Fmod program as one would override the other one.[The link he provided]

2.make sure the internal file name is correct. 'music_bank03' isnt correct, 'music' is correct. [The name that he circled blue]

3.if possible use the stream to memory option as using stream from disk isnt good for repetitive sound.[bad for hard disk]

4.compression...any format can be use as long as it works. I find that mp3 dont degrade the sound quality badly and it keep the file memory low.

5.Make sure that the file you just compiled has the correct name for both *.fev and *.fsb

Other than that it fine so far. :Smile_blinky:

Well if wg made new update, the guide might not work completly well.
